Role and Responsibilities of Advisory Board
- Providing strategic and academic advice on the journal’s development and direction.
- Supporting the promotion of ethical publishing practices and academic standards.
- Advising on emerging research areas and thematic priorities.
- Promoting the journal within professional and academic networks.
Advisory Board members do not participate in routine editorial decision-making and are not involved in the peer-review process unless formally invited as independent reviewers under the journal’s standard peer-review policy.
All editorial decisions remain the responsibility of the Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Board to ensure independence and transparency.
Distinction Between Advisory Board and Editorial Board
The roles of the Advisory Board and Editorial Board are distinct:
- The Editorial Board manages manuscript handling, peer review coordination, and editorial decisions.
- The Advisory Board serves in a consultative capacity, providing strategic guidance without involvement in operational editorial processes.
