This editorial highlights the significance of leadership in organizational productivity, particularly in the healthcare sector. It emphasizes the need for influential leaders in healthcare organizations to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and adapt to evolving healthcare models. In allied healthcare, leadership education and evaluation are crucial for the success of health sciences and independent practitioners. Further, it discusses the importance of leadership in providing rehabilitation services, especially in developing countries where such services are considered a luxury. It raises concerns about the underrepresentation of allied health professionals in leadership positions and the potential negative impact on growth and problem-solving. Therefore, it concludes by stressing the importance of diverse and effective leadership in the rehabilitation sector to address the community’s unmet rehabilitation needs.
